Q: I want to stay at the vendor and sponsor hotels. How will I know which ones those are?
A: These are the most popular hotels. You can be assured of staying in these hotels if you book early. Participants that book before January 2008 will have the best opportunity to stay at Vendor/Sponsor hotels.
Q: When I book on line, how do I know that I have rooms?
A: Once you book your rooms, you will receive your confirmation immediately. Your confirmation includes hotel address and phone number. Print this confirmation and hold onto it; we do not automatically resend confirmations.
Q: What if my online reservation contains errors?
A: Please inspect your reservation confirmation immediately. If you have any mistakes, or require amendments, call us right away. If you wait until May to tell us about an error, it is very difficult to make appropriate changes.
Q: I want to call the hotels to confirm my reservations. Why don't they have my name?
A: The hotel will not have your name until we send in the rooming list, about 30 days before the tour. Even then, many hotels do not input the rooming list until just a day or two before your stay. We personally contact every hotel the day before you arrive to ensure each registered participant has the correct room and bedding type that was reserved.
Q: Can I book rooms for just a few cities?
A: Yes, choose any cities you wish.
Q: Are there people from the power tour at all the hotels?
A: Yes, in some cases we reserve entire hotels for Power Tour participants.
Q: What if I can't go on the tour after I've purchased rooms?
A: We offer trip insurance which covers you in the event of medical emergencies for yourself and your family. The insurance cost is based on your year of birth and the cost of your rooms. It is typically less than 10% of the cost of your rooms. You can get a quote without obligation to buy on our website. It does not cover automobile breakdowns, only medical or other
approved reason.
